Oklahoma Employers:

Join the Veteran Employer Network and make a difference in the lives of Oklahoma Veterans.

We allow individuals, companies, and organizations to join the network. If interested in joining, please contact Community Service Council’s Community Executive Liaison, Mark Morgan, at mmorgan@csctulsa.org.

Why hire veterans? We produced this quick video to showcase the benefit of veterans in the workplace.

Oklahoma Veteran Employer Network is a collaboration between the Community Service Council (CSC), Oklahoma Veteran Alliance (OKVA), The City of Tulsa, DR Consulting, and several veteran service organizations. The network was created to identify and build an employer network of businesses interested in recruiting, hiring, and developing veterans in the workplace.

The Oklahoma Veteran Employer Network was launched with a statewide survey at the Governor’s Veteran Symposium in October 2017. CSC and partners developed the scoring rubric and survey process to then carefully identify and recognize Veteran Employer “Champions” from within the network.

2023 Employer Survey Results

In fall 2023, we finalized the results for the sixth year of the Veteran Employer Champion Survey. The survey encourages employers to continually take intentional steps to ensure they are creating a veteran-ready workplace to be recognized as a champion, and gives them a platform to share their best practices and strategies for supporting veteran employees.
