CSC’s Top of the Town Fundraiser Celebrates 10 Years
In 2008, the inaugural Top of the Town event was introduced toTulsans as a fundraiser for CSC’s Child Care Resource Center. Throughout the past 10 years, awareness of the event has grown, capturing the attention of thousands of Tulsans for the stunning views, lively settings and historic information it offers. Set as a roving cocktail party blended with a tour of downtown, Top of the Town ticket holders have access to the top floor or rooftop of many Downtown Tulsa buildings. At each building, guests enjoy the glowing sunset and glittering night skyline over delectable local hors d’oeuvres, signature adult refreshments, and live music from Tulsa’s finest artists, all at their own pace. Building venues include the Petroleum Club Building, 320 Boston Building, Kennedy Tower, Philtower, the Palace, and many more.
In 2018, for its 10th anniversary, Top of the Town was expanded to support all of CSC’s 30+ community programs. The event was held on June 7, 2018, and included the support of numerous corporate sponsors, building venues, food and beverage vendors, CSC employees, and community volunteers. Together, the event raised $67,000 in cash donations from our corporate sponsors, $32,000 in ticket sales, and $2,000+ from the Gift Basket Gamble and the Restaurant Raffle.
The proceeds from the event will benefit CSC’s work, which together across six division areas and 30 programs, strives to improve the lives of Oklahomans in need through research, planning and action.
The 11th annual Top of the Town event is set for June 6, 2019.
