As of December 2019, there was still $18 million of unmet needs from last spring’s disastrous flooding. Community Service Council is serving on the Tulsa Long-Term Recovery Committee working to address the needs of Tulsans impacted by the floods. CSC’s Melinda Belcher, Privacy & Security Officer, is serving as Chair of the Case Management Committee, and CSC’s 211 Eastern Oklahoma remains the entry point for connection to resources and case management help for those still struggling from the aftermath of the flooding.
In December, the Tulsa Area Disaster Recovery Fund was developed to help with recovery efforts, which is being managed by the Tulsa Community Foundation. To donate, please visit https://tulsacf.org/
