211 Eastern Oklahoma Introduces New Live Chat Feature

In December 2019, the Community Service Council’s 211 Eastern Oklahoma announced the installation of a new service feature for those reaching out to the helpline. Now, in addition to calling, texting and searching the online directory, 211 Eastern Oklahoma offers Oklahomans “Live Chat” – an online service accessible via the 211EOK.ORG website that allows those in need of assistance to communicate, or chat, in real time with trained specialists who can connect them to help. 211 Eastern Oklahoma implemented the new live support application in an effort to provide immediate support and information on available resources to those who want to interact with a caring 211 Eastern Oklahoma specialist live, but who may not want to or be able to make a phone call.
