East Tulsa Community Baby Shower

The Community Service Council’s Power of Families Project and Healthy Start programs are teaming up to host the first ever East Tulsa Community Baby Shower on March 7, 2020, at Ellen Ochoa Elementary School, in partnership with the Tulsa Health Department and Safe Kids Tulsa. The event will be free and open to the public.

We’re so excited to introduce this event to the community as it serves the Community Service Council’s mission of addressing challenges to the health and well-being of Tulsa families, and is aligned with the work of our two programs involved:

  • Our Power of Families works to remove barriers that impede access to health care among Tulsa’s Hispanic/Latinx families.
  • Our Healthy Start works to improve outcomes in maternal and infant health among Tulsa’s African American families.
