This September, 2-1-1 Oklahoma, a statewide program of the Community Service Council in Tulsa and HeartLine,Inc. in Oklahoma City, has officially received the necessary certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services, to provide assistance with enrollment to the Affordable Care Act Health Insurance Marketplace. 211 Oklahoma staff have taken rigorous state-mandated assessments to adequately prepare them to respond to Oklahomans’ healthcare insurance inquiries and needs.
CSC is pleased to announce that all 211 Oklahoma specialists on staff at CSC have become certified Health Insurance Marketplace Navigators to help Oklahomans find health coverage options through the Marketplace, including completing eligibility and enrollment forms. Individuals who have become navigators are required to be unbiased and provide only free services to consumers.
Furthermore, our 211 Oklahoma team has created a clearinghouse with over 100 sites that provide Navigator person-to-person assistance in Oklahoma.
