Continuum of Care Planning: AWH4T News

On December 20, 2016, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced the award of $2.8 million in grants to provide funding for 18 local homeless housing and service projects being provided by member agencies of Tulsa’s Continuum of Care (CoC) known as A Way Home For Tulsa (AWH4T). The awards totaled $2,794,032 and included three grants for new projects totaling $370,981. Meanwhile, a new permanent supportive housing project at the Mental Health Association Oklahoma and a new rapid re-housing project at the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless, respectively, can now begin operations while 15 current programs will be able to make plans for a grant in support of the development of a new Coordinated Entry System for the Tulsa community.
