The Community Service Council functions as a think tank in Tulsa and our region.
We provide leadership for identifying emerging trends and needs, examining and explaining them in innovative ways, engaging people's attention, and exploring best possibilities for effective action.
Our world is changing. A "perfect storm” of historic and converging forces is now impacting people here in Tulsa, throughout our country and everywhere. CSC has analyed these forces and sounded the alarm, so that we and others can plan and act based on an understanding of the meaning and implications of these dramatic changes.
The Council provides information and analysis on key trends and needs. We help public officials better understand changing needs, opportunities and challenges. We provide consultation, technical assistance and staff support for many local and state planning initiatives; and we assist non-profit, public, and for profit entities to plan more effectively based on an understanding of new realities.
